Verify a certificateHolding a certificate? Check it here.
Paste the link from the certificate, or type the identifier printed beside the QR code. You do not need an account and there is nothing to pay.
If the QR code works, use the QR code.
Scanning takes you straight to the verification page. This form exists for the case where you are holding a photocopy, a scan, or a printout whose code will not read.
- 01This page does not check anything. It only recognises the format and sends you to the verification address. The check itself happens there, against published keys and status lists.
- 02Nothing you type here is stored. No lookup, no logging of the identifier, no account.
- 03A credential that is not found is not the same as a forgery. Check the address and the identifier first, then contact the issuing institution.
What you will see
Valid, suspended, revoked or not found — always as text, never as colour alone.
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Valid | The signature checks out against the issuer’s published key, and the credential is in neither the revocation nor the suspension list. |
| Suspended | Temporarily not in force. A separate list from revocation — lifting a suspension does not lift a revocation. |
| Revoked | Withdrawn by the issuer. The record still exists; a correction is made by revoking and reissuing, never by editing. |
| Not found | No credential answers to that identifier here. Check the address and the identifier before assuming anything. |
The public verification page masks part of the recipient’s name. Preview images shared to messaging platforms are fetched by crawlers that cannot authenticate, so a private link cannot protect them.
